Cullman Clinical Trials

Provident Healthcare Partners (“Provident”), a leading healthcare investment banking firm, announced it has advised Cullman Clinical Trials (“CCT”) in its acquisition by Rovia Clinical Research, a portfolio company of Gauge Capital. CCT is a North Alabama-based, multi-specialty clinical research site with proven expertise in conducting clinical trials across several high-value therapeutic areas, including weight loss, vaccines, pulmonology, and neurology.

Provident’s deal team was led by Managing Director Michael Patton and Director Conor Duffey. Bradley Arant Boult Cummings served as legal counsel to CCT.

“Provident Healthcare Partners understood our business from the first conversation. I didn’t have to explain site-level economics, sponsor relationships, or why enrollment performance matters more than headcount; they already knew. That knowledge showed up in who they brought us. The partner we ended up with was the right fit for our team and our patients, not just the highest number in the room. I’d recommend them to any site owner thinking about a sale,” commented Alex Seligson, Managing Partner of CCT.

“Alex Seligson quickly grew Cullman Clinical Trials into one of the premier multi-specialty research sites in Alabama, an attractive clinical research market with limited private equity-backed competition. With particular strength in metabolic and pulmonology trials, CCT expands Rovia’s therapeutic reach while establishing a foothold in a growing clinical research market,” noted Conor Duffey of Provident.
