The Physician Medical Group market posted a strong first quarter in 2020. Dental, dermatology and ophthalmology practices were still investor favorites as platform add-on deals, while others were starting or expanding platforms in gastroenterology, allergy/ENT and podiatry. Then the coronavirus disrupted the market, slashing deal volume in half. Investors are back in the PMG market, but activity is cautious.
