Provident Healthcare Partners (Provident), a leading healthcare investment banking firm, announced it has advised Coyne & Associates Education Corp. (Coyne) in its partnership with Behavioral Health Works (BHW), a behavioral health provider helping children and families with autism thrive through personalized ABA programs and family-first support. Coyne is a leading provider of evidence-based early intervention and ABA services for young children with autism or developmental delays, delivering individualized care and support across Southern California.

Provident’s deal team was led by Managing Director, Craig R. Sager, and Vice President, Tommy Spiegel. Fredrikson & Byron served as legal counsel to Coyne, and NBC Law served as legal counsel to BHW.

“Coyne & Associates has long been dedicated to providing exceptional ABA services and creating meaningful outcomes for the children and families we serve. As we looked toward the next chapter, it was essential for us to identify a partner who shared our values and commitment to high-quality care. We are pleased to have found that alignment with Behavioral Health Works, who we believe is well-positioned to support our continued growth and expand access to much-needed services. Provident played an instrumental role in helping us evaluate opportunities and navigate this important transition. Their expertise and partnership were invaluable, and we are deeply appreciative of their support every step of the way,” added April Worsdell, Chief Executive Officer of Coyne.

“It was a privilege to advise Coyne on its transaction with Behavioral Health Works. Coyne has long been recognized as a leader in early intervention and ABA services, and the team has demonstrated unwavering dedication to children and families. BHW brings a shared mission and the capabilities required to continue that legacy and scale the organization’s impact,” noted Sager and Spiegel.
